In November 2006, the Board of Directors of BCSB unanimously selected Joseph J. Bouffard as the Bank’s new president and chief executive officer. Joe has deep roots in the Baltimore banking community, with more than 30 years of experience working for Baltimore-based financial institutions.

Joe is supported in his role by a Board of Directors, comprised of local business leaders from private and public sectors, who represent a variety of industries including retail, insurance, real estate, accounting, law, utilities and more.

BCSB also boasts a top-notch management team with extensive experience in Maryland banking. This team, supported by a network of friendly and knowledgeable branch employees, brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to service to the Bank’s customers.

All told, 165 employees with an average of ten years tenure work at BCSB. We are proud of the fact that 18% of our staff has been with the bank for more than 20 years, giving you the highest possible caliber of experienced, knowledgeable service.
